On arriving in Nyon 11 years ago, I fell in love with the town and surrounding countryside. I got married here and my three children (2, 5, and 7) were born here. I centred my professional activities on the town and was later elected to the district council.

I joined the Green Party, because I share its global political vision and appreciate its pragmatic approach to environmental and social problems.

Having innovative ideas is one thing; knowing how to realize them is another. In the town council I will be able to draw on my professional experience: 12 years as an entertainments promoter have given me experience of team-work, and an awareness of what it needs to lead and support groups which are varied both in composition and in aims. Through my work I have also learned to appreciate the human element in personal and business dealings. Thus I recognize the importance of motivating a team so that together we might achieve those objectives beyond the capacity of the individual.

In order that we might continue to live the good life in Nyon, I will promote your interests and those of our children, for we all have a responsibility towards the environment. This environment is the heritage we leave to future generations.

I believe that in concerning ourselves with the environment we are first and foremost concerning ourselves with human well-being.

I will define my priorities through the vision presented in these pages.

Aged 39, I am part of that section of the population currently under-represented on our town executive.
